About the database

The Industrial Automation Projects Report and Database 2025 is part of IoT Analytics’ ongoing coverage of smart manufacturing. The information presented in this report is based on a database of 4,200+ industrial automation projects by five of the leading industrial automation vendors. All data are based on public information that is available in the websites of the respective industrial OEMs (Siemens, Emerson Electric, Rockwell Automation, ABB, and Schneider Electric).

Projects in scope

Projects that include at least one product classified within the ISA-95 pyramid levels are considered in-scope. Projects featuring both in-scope and out-of-scope products were also analyzed to provide a comprehensive overview.
