This series is part of a programmed learning course developed & produced by the Aviation Maintenance Publishers, Inc., to improve and promote the aviations, and education. This program is part of that effort to improve the quality of education technicians throughout the world.
The purpose of each AMPI training series is to provide basic and detailed information on the operation and principles of the various aircraft systems and their components. Texts such as this one are background in nature and provide information on which the A&P can build his understanding of aircraft.
Throughout this text, at appropriate points, is included a series of carefully prepared questions and answers to emphasize key elements of the text, and to encourage the individual to continually test himself for accuracy and retention as he progresses.
For the best results, the slide and audio portion should be reviewed first, either in the class room or by individual study, under the direction of an experienced instructor; then, this knowledge should be reinforced with that contained in this book.
