About the Authors
Maheshwari Prasad Verma is an academician with degree in M. Phil (Business Management), Masters in Tourism Management and a Hotel Management graduate. At present he is the Dean and Professor of very prestigious University, K R Mangalam Gurugram and within this heading the School of Hotel Management and Catering Technology department. He has more than 26 years of rich experience in industry and academia.
He has worked nationally and internationally. He has been associated with organisation like Holiday Inn Johannesburg (South Africa) as an executive chef, Oberoi group of hotels, Fariyas group of hotels, Clarks group of hotels and in academics he had been associated with R M Institute of International Hotel Management in partnership with Thames Valley University London, Amity University Noida and Kolkata, Lovely Professional University and CT University Ludhiana.
He had authored several books on the trade and also been associated with training and consultancy. Recently he had been conferred upon best Professor award in field of Hospitality Management at Hyderabad.
Pankaj Kumar Sisodia has a vast experience of about 22 years in the field of academics at various reputed institutes of the country. An Alumni of Food Craft Institute Lucknow from the batch of 1991, he later did his Graduation and MBA. Currently, working as HOD of Hotel Mangement SRM University, Modinagar, Ghaziabad. Ayan Basak has a rich experience of about 18 years in the field of academics at various reputed institutes of the country, besides industry experience of working with various hotels in India and abroad like Hyatt Regency New Delhi, Metropolitan Palace Dubai. An Alumni of IHM Bhubaneswar from the batch of 1995, he later did his Graduation, MBA and qualified for UGC-NET. Currently, he is a senior faculty and working as Asst. Professor in Amity University, Noida. He is a member of Advisory board for Shubharti University, Meerut. His area of specialization is Food & Beverage Services with keen interest in ethnic Indian cuisine. Beside an active researcher, he has designed and delivered many courses for different Universities.
