About the Authors

Maheshwari Prasad Verma is an academician withdegree in M. Phil (Business Management), Masters in Tourism Management and a Hotel Management graduate. Atpresent he is the Dean and Professor at the prestigious, K R Mangalam University,Gurugram and is heading the School of Hotel Management and Catering Technologydepartment. He has more than 26 years of rich experience in industry andacademia.

He has worked nationally and internationally. He has beenassociated with organisation like Holiday Inn. Johannesburg (South Africa) as an executive chef, Oberoigroup of hotels, Fariyas group of hotels, Clarksgroup of hotels and in academics he had been associatedwith R M Institute of International Hotel Management in partnership with ThamesValley University London, Amity University Noida and Kolkata, LovelyProfessional University and CT University Ludhiana.He had authored several books on the trade and beenassociated with training and consultancy. Recently he had been conferred uponbest Professor award in field of Hospitality Management at Hyderabad.

Mamta Bhatnagar is an accomplished tourismacademician with comprehensive blend of hands-on

professional and academic experience. As an Innovativeteacher she is devoted to education and learning and is a Published author,career-development mentor and research guide. She did her MBA, MTTM and PhD in thefield of hospitality and tourism and has worked as Dean and Director withreputed universities in different parts of the country. She was formerlyassociated with Dev Sanskriti University, Haridwar as Head of the Department –Indian Culture and Tourism studies and Director – Centre for DistanceEducation. She has been involved in teaching and research assignments for thelast 25 years with various reputed national institutions like All IndiaManagement Association.
