About the Authors
Mahesh P. Bhave, former Vice Principal of Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI), Mumbai, has more than 25 years of teaching experience. He headed the Department of Computer Technology at VJTI and has many publications to his credit, including five textbooks on Computer Programming. He has published around 15 research papers in reputed journals. He is a member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and of the Computer Society of India (CSI).
Sunil A. Patekar is presently Principal at Vidyalankar Institute of Technology (VIT), Mumbai. He has been the Head, Department of Computer Technology, VJTI. A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, he has more than 25 years of teaching experience, has published 50 research and technical papers, and has co-authored five textbooks with Prof. Mahesh Bhave. He is a Chartered Engineer, Institute of Engineers (India) and won many laurels as a topper at the University level and was felicitated with a gold medal as well as a silver medal for academic excellence at VJTI. He won the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) National Award (1992), won the best Paper Prize at the IEEE INDICON 2014 National Conference and was honored with the Best Teacher Award by the Government of Maharashtra in 2007.
