ABOUT THE BOOK
Artificial intelligence impacts the society with its diversified application in different domains, such as market segments like stock market, manufacturing or in Research and Development. Artificial intelligence now a days extends its frontier in technology and knowledge.
This workbook is made in order to design guidance towards building practical applications and solving them efficiently to achieve an enhanced logical as well as decision making ability in the field of AI. Artificial intelligence covers tasks associated with human intelligence, speech recognition, decision making, visual perception and natural language processing.
This book includes each and every segment with appropriate analysis and solution procedure. It covers solution of algorithms, to understand searching techniques to develop appropriate machine learning tool. It also covers, fuzzy logic with brief overview along with solution and Planning and constraint satisfaction problems with explanations.
Now a days applicability of AI is extended towards predictive analysis. Hence designing methods of an efficient optimization and prediction tool are provided; which includes Genetic algorithms and artificial neural networks. To understand the chapters in details, related multiple choice questions with most suitable answers are included, in order to make beneficial learning outcome.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
After B-Tech, Anindita Das Bhattacharjee started her career in industry as a Trainee Software Developer for a year. She had to quit industry carrier as she wanted to pursue higher studies. She has done M-Tech in Computer Science from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Durgapur. She secured a position of First class Second in M-Tech. She has done many projects on Data clustering, Fuzzy logic, Multi-Objective Genetic Algorithm on Time table problem, which are basically a part of Artificial Intelligence & Soft Computing. She has been teaching for more than 10 years in Computer Science as an Asst. Prof. Her area of interest includes Artificial Neural Networks, Genetic Algorithm, Data Clustering, Computer Graphics Design, Design and Analysis of algorithm and Distributed Operating System. She started her teaching carrier in Bengal College of Engineering & Technology (BCET) Durgapur, as an Asst. Prof. Currently she is working in Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science & Technology (SVIST) Kolkata, as an Asst. Prof. in computer science department. She is the author of the book “Artificial Intelligence and Soft computing for beginner” published in 2013(First Edition) & 2014 (Second Edition), which has gained good popularity and has received positive feedbacks. Currently she is pursuing her PhD work. She is an author of book chapters in the book “Intelligent Analysis for Multimedia Information” published by IGI Global and indexed in Scopus and IRMA. She has few IEEE publications and many publications in international journals on Machine learning indexed in Elsevier Mendeley.
