The Database Management Systems book is intended to server as a text/reference book for Engineering and Computer Science students. Dr. J. Suganthi completed her B.E in Computer Science and Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University, Tamil Nadu, India in 1991 and M.E in Computer Science and Engineering from Bharathiar University, Tamil Nadu, India in 2004 and Ph.D in Anna University Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India in 2008. She worked as a Principal, Hindusthan Institute of Technology Coimbatore. She had rich teaching, research and administrative experience for over 25 years, which made her take the crown of Principal of Hindhusthan Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. To her Laurels, she received Best Co-ordinator award from PSG College of Technology and received awards for her journals published in referred journals. JSW funded Rs. 14 Lakhs for the research project in aerospace. She has published 72 International journal papers, 21 National journal papers and 51 papers in International and National Conference proceedings. She has published 3 books and the best seller is the “Fundamentals of Computing, C Programming and Ms Office”, Vijay Nicole Imprints Pvt Ltd, First edition, 2004”. Her area of interest includes Database Technology, Software Engineering and Project Management. She was a Member of Board of Studies, Anna University, Chennai. She has produced 11 PhD Scholars under Faculty of Information and Communication Engineering and 1 PhD Scholar under Faculty of Electrical Engineering. She has received the “Best Faculty” award from Cognizant Technology Solutions and an “Outstanding Faculty” award from Venus International Foundation – 2015.
Dr. K. Sasi Kala Rani has completed her B. E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tamil Nadu, India in 2000 and M.E in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai in 2005 and Ph.D in Anna University Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India in 2014. She is now working as a Professor and Head, Computer Science and Engineering, Hindusthan Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. She has 15 years of teaching experience. Her area of research includes Networking, Modeling and Simulation, Soft Computing Techniques, Evolutionary strategies. She has published 2 books and 14 papers in International journals. She is a life member of Institution of Engineers, Indian Society for Technical Education.
Dr. D. Rasi, M.E, Ph.D Assistant Professor/CSE Dr. D. Rasi working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Information Technology at Hindusthan College of Engineering and Technology where she has been a faculty member since 2008.
