About the Author

Prof. R D Joshi is Director at Orion, an International Health Academy. Prior to joining this global assignment, he was Director-Business Processes at Interlink Marketing Consultancy Pvt. Ltd.
He started his career as a University Lecturer and taught Specialised Labour Management courses for almost 20 years. He designed and conducted Leadership Training for Trade Unionists and Industrial Executives. He then entered a career in Industrial Management.

  • His management career spanning more than 25 years includes the following leadership roles:
  • Secretary General, Organisation of Pharmaceutical Producers of India
  • Executive Director, All India Manufacturers Organisation

Personnel Manager, Abbot Laboratories Pvt Ltd and Anglo French Drug Company
As an industry expert he addressed International Conferences in UK, USA, Europe and Australia.
He represented India at the Programme on Wage Policy of International Labour Organisation (ILO), Geneva.
Prof. Joshi has published 50 articles including research papers. He has been Chief Editor of Interlink Insight and a member of advisory panel of ‘Business Briefing: Pharma Tech’, World Market Research Centre London.
He is a Governing Council Member of Industrial Relations Institute of India.
He teaches at leading Management Institutes in India and abroad.
